Route History

Service 66 is a long trunk route spanning East to West, connecting residential areas of Bedok, Bedok Reservior, MacPherson Estate, Jurong East and Bukit Batok to Little India and Bukit Timah. This service compliments Service 65 between Little India and Bedok Reservoir, and also plies the full stretch of Bukit Timah Road along with various other services, such as 67 and 170.

Fleet: Service 66′s fleet comprises a majority of Scania K230UBs, with several  Mercedes-Benz Citaros. Volvo B9TL Doubledeckers were deployed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays since May 2015 after the trees along Bt Timah Rd were pruned in late 2014.

2014 (30 Nov): Amended to air-conditioned Bedok Integrated Transport Hub (ITH), skpping bus stop outside Blk 204 Bedok North Interchange

2015 (01 May): Start of Volvo B9TL Double Decker deployments

  1. Dear FF,

    There is currently no doubledecker bus deployed on service 66 yet. However, with the trees along Upp Bukit Timah Rd pruned last week, this service as well as many others along the road (inclusive of 960 etc.) may have doubledecker buses deployed in the near future.

  2. Can we have the photo of 66 double deck please? Actually 66 double deckers only deployed on weekends and public holidays.
