  1. Regards to previous comment, I have attempted to check up web archive and found that 269 was amended to Yio Chu Kang Road around Nov Dec 2002, but couldn’t find an exact press release. I am very sure it wasn’t amended to YCK Road during the moving of interchange, because shortly after 266 was cancelled (due to interchange movement), it is not possible to take only one bus from Yio Chu Kang Road (The Calrose) to Ave 5 (Blk 617) anymore (previously possible by 266). This however was covered by 269 some months later (current route)

However, 269 did have some amendments. Before the interchange movement, 269 plied Ave 3, Ave 6, St 61, Ave 9, Ave 4, Ave 5, then back to Ave 6. Then after the interchange movement, Ave 3, Ave 4, Ave 5, Ave 6, St 61, Ave 9, then back to Ave 4. Then some months later, the amendments I mentioned in the first paragraph (and the current route).

March 2002: Plied Avenue 4 first instead of Avenue 6
?? (circa Nov 2002): Extended to YCK Road and Avenue 5

I wish I could scan my Translink Guides and SBST AMK Town Guide (from 2002) to prove this…but they are in my Singapore home (currently in Aussie so that’s not possible)

    • The amendment during the interchange movement has been mentioned in 138 as 138 had to rerouted to replace the deleted 269 section on Ave 6.
