World Trade Center Bus Terminal came into operation in January 1985 with bus services CBD 1, 84, 93, 100 and 163 and provides direct links to Upper Serangoon, Serangoon Gardens, Jalan Kayu, Yio Chu Kang, Paya Lebar, Aljunied, Farrer, Queensway and Orchard Road.
The interchange remains largely unmodified, but recent upgrading works in 2011/2012 have made all berths accessible to wheelchair boarding and alighting, and given the interchange a fresher look as a whole.
Apart from trunk services, Parks Services 408 and 409 were also introduced to Labrador Park and Mount Faber Park respectively. 409 was withdrawn in 2013, leaving Parks 408 as the only remaining Parks service. Service 124 was extended to HarbourFront in 2013, and Service 123 is expected to follow suit in the near future.
