Service CW6 is a cross-border route connecting the Taman Bukit Indah area within Johor with Boon Lay in Singapore, via the Tuas Second Link crossing. The route is one of four regular cross-border bus services operating via the Tuas Second Link, along with Service CW3, CW4 and CW4S, and the only one to serve Boon Lay. The boarding and alighting point of this route at Boon Lay is an abandoned bus stop along Boon Lay Way, near Boon Lay MRT Station. CW6 is currently the only regular bus service to call at the stop.
Second Link plying CW services, inclusive of CW6, operate as public bus when operating in Johor Bahru sector. These buses supplement other bus services that are available in the Bukit Indah area. This means that these buses stop at all en route bus stops along their route, and effectively serves residents living along the route. Detailed route details can be found indicated below.
The bus service operates at a frequency of 15-25 minutes, with operating hours from Giant Nusa Bestari between 05:00-21:30 on weekdays and 6:00-21:10 on weekends and holidays. From Boon Lay, buses operates between 7:30-22:45 on weekdays and 07:30-22:40 on weekends and holidays.
Due to varying traffic conditions at the Tuas Second Link, travel times and waiting times may increase significantly when jams occur. The route does not call at en-route bus stops in Singapore, providing fast connections daily between Singapore and Malaysia.

When travelling between Tuas CIQ Complex and Sultan Abu Bakar CIQ Complex (“CIQ 2nd Link”) in either direction, commuters may board any Causeway Link bus (Service CW3, CW4, CW4S, CW6) with a valid ticket. Commuters using the ManjaLink Card should tap their card upon entry.
With a valid ticket at Tuas Second Link, passengers travelling towards Jurong East can similarly board CW3, CW4 or CW4S to Jurong East as the fare is the same. Alternatively, passengers heading towards other destinations in JB can transfer to other bus services at CIQ Second Link.
Charges section fares. ManjaLink Card payment is accepted on this bus service. Only Singapore currency is accepted when boarding the bus in Singapore, and Malaysian currency is accepted when boarding from Malaysia.
|Cash / ManjaLink Fares towards Singapore||Cash / ManjaLink Fares towards Johor Bahru|
|Giant Nusa Bestari – Boon Lay: RM5.00
CIQ Second Link – Boon Lay: RM2.60
|Boon Lay – All JB destinations: S$4.00
As the ManjaLink card is loaded with values in MYR, for SGD fares passengers will be charged based on the prevailing exchange rate determined by Causeway Link. Service CW6 commonly utilizes Scania K310IB and SKSbus SA12-300 buses that are registered for cross-border operations.
