  1. Awaiting for the opening of route 258! Greater connectivity for Boon Lay residents! More alternatives! This services also duplicates 243 routes that are on high demand! Good move by SBS and BSEP! Anticipating for 21 Nov 2015!

  2. I have a feeling that 258 will be a very popular bus service. It will shorten the queue for 243G at the bus interchange as some people would change to take this bus service. It will attract more people to take the bus during peak hours, thanks to the direct bus connection to Pioneer MRT Station that it provides. I expect the loading to be high during peak hours and medium-low during other hours, regardless of its frequency. Of course, the higher the frequency, the better. Double Decker buses should be deployed on this bus service.
